Rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA, was shot dead outside of Wish restaurant on Florida Road, Durban on 10 February, along with his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.

AKA was gunned down in a suspected organised hit by two unknown assailants in front of a popular restaurant in Durban. AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes, was in the city to perform at his birthday celebration, and he was killed after a meal with friends .
AKA was in a public and adorable relationship with fellow rapper Nadia Nakai, and their union was one of the most talked about in the music industry.
