After over a year of leaving Mzansi’s most loved and watched Soapie, Dawn Thandeka Queen better known as Mam’ Guluva MaNgqobo is likely to make a dramatic return to the show.
This news has been revealed by a local online publication Mzansi Watch claiming that the charavter of MaNgcobo will make a dramatic return to the KwaMashu based drama series in March 2023.
The seasoned actress currently acting on Mzansi Magic telenovela DiepCity which is set to come to an end this year in December.
On DiepCity She plays the character of Thandiwe.
The drama is mainly focused on poverty and every day struggles of the ordinary South African citizens living in places like Diep sloot and other over populated areas.
Unfortunately the coming year will see many actors of the soapie jobless as it is now confirmed that it won’t be returning to the screens for a new season.
The show was cut off despite it winning many awards for its excellent performances on screen and wardrobes.
Now MaNgcobo is said to have swallowed humble pie and will make that dramatic return to KwaMashu where she left as a fugitive but everything has changed now since the time she left in 2021.
Allow me to take you back in time when she made her grand exit from the show. She left as someone who was moving to Mozambique after double crossing her husband Nkunzi in a heist worth mega millions of rands.
As it stands it’s not clear how the writers of Uzalo plan to bring her character back and which story line she’ll take. But Uzalo is capable of doing the impossible.
Another character that was written off was that of Fikile but producers of the show claimed she was going to make a come back.
Many actors have tried making a come back to Uzalo but failed, at one point they tried bringing back GC and Thobile as well as Mastermind but it was briefly as theyw failed to fit them in.
