Remember the girls that were twerking on the bumper, of the Volkswagen minibus combi?
Well it did not end very well. The combi allegedly crashed and the girls and driver got very badly injured.
This took place on Sunday.
Doornpoort Plaza where the vibe was joyful around 2pm, during a worldwide pandemic.
The two girls could be seen in a video, that went viral twerking out the combi’s door, and on the bumper while balancing alcohol on their heads, cars were hooting, and people were happy, until it all ended in tears.
These types of stunts where people do funny things, on cars while they are in motion has become a norm and it never ends well, especially when there is alcohol involved.
Research indicated that drunk driving accounted for 27.1% of fatal vehicle crashes in the in South Africa.
In South Africa, approximately 1 million road accidents are reported per year.
The majority of the accidents that occur are caused by human factors, with, an average of more than 40 people a day being fatally injured and at least 20 being left permanently disabled. Any amount of alcohol in your bloodstream can impact your driving ability.
The effects of alcohol abuse vary greatly, putting you at risk for causing an accident or highway injury. Safe driving requires the ability to concentrate, make good judgements and quickly react to situations, but when you are under the influence while driving, it normally ends in tears.
