The underfire preacher and his wife have been in and out of court recently, with an R15 million fraud case postponed to 2021.

Bushiri is also accused of contravening South Africa’s exchange control regulations when he purchased a private jet for R19 million.

Hawks spokesperson Colonel Katlego Mogale said four people “including a pastor aged between 25 and 39” have been arrested for alleged involvement in fraud and money laundering worth R102 million.
