South Africa is officially moving to level 1 by removing the remaining restrictions.
Ramaphosa said the country is moving to a new normal.
South Africa will be moving to level 1 with effect from Sunday 20 September Midnight
This sees more restrictions being being lifted.
Venues to occupy at least 50% of the building capacity.
He also added that borders will open from 1 October. Travellers will be screened, and have to produce a Covid 19 test results not older than 72 hours before departure. Failure to do so they will be forced to quarantine on their own costs.
How ever some countries will not be allowed to visit South Africa. The President will publish a list of countries not allowed into the country.

He stressed that South Africa is working with other unions in creating the vaccines for the virus.
He also said South Africa is developing it’s own vaccine.
