Ramaphosa ignore calls of intervention by Zimbabweans
The President of the Republic of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa who is the chairperson of the African Union has turned a deaf ear on calls by many Zimbabweans to intervene on current pressing issues in the country.
Zimbabweans and other twitter users across the Globe called on Ramaphosa to intervene and state his position on the trending #ZimbabweanLivesMatter.
The President has not shown his ground, he did not say anything about the issue.
The Zimbabwe Lives Matter is a movement to raise awareness about human rights abuse in Zimbabwe,abductions and arrests of investigative Journalist.
Ramaphosa chose to tweet about the Lebanon Beirut Explosion ignoring matters that are happening right under his nose.
All African leaders have ignored this issue.
A fake account of the Malawian President gave Zimbabweans some hope that African leaders were concerned about human rights in Zimbabwe,the joy could not last long as the President denied and distanced himself from the account.
It is only opposition leaders tht have decided to raise concern about the issue. EFF leader Julius Malema and Mmusi Maimane from South Africa have been active participants of this movement.
