Nearly 200 killed in Kenyan flood

Nearly 200 people have been, 100 000 left displaced and infrastructure destroyed in Kenya after heavy rains poured on Wednesday.

On Wednesday villagers in Budalangi West of Kenya were forced to evacuate their lands due to unprecedented high water levels from two dams.

Rains in Kenya usually end in Mid May.

Villagers of Budalangi, Western Kenya were forced to carry their belongings and move away from their homes using boats and motorbikes after the Nzoia river burst it’s banks.
